" What fools they are who manufacture idols for their gods. Their hopes remain unanswered."
Here Isaiah describes how people make their own gods. How absurb to make a god from the same tree that gives firewood. Do we make our own gods - money, fame, or power? If we make a god of our own choosing, we deceive ourselves. We cannot expect it to empower our lives.
